So light and fluffy and packed with chocolaty milo goodness, my air fryer milo lava cake recipe will send you on a journey from the moment you taste it.
It takes only 8-minutes in your air fryer. It uses just 6 ingredients, making it super easy to prepare and even quicker to eat.

I remember seeing somebody make this recipe on a TikTok video a while ago and thought it would be pretty cool to try.
My kids and I love our milo, so I knew I would be on a winner when I pulled this one out of my air fryer.
Before I tried air fryer milo lava cake, I honestly thought it may be a little too rich, but low behold, it tasted great.
With just the right amount of sugar and so incredibly fluffy, watching my kid's faces when they had their first bite was so funny.
They just love breaking open the cake and watching the milo spill out onto their plates.
My kids have made sure it has become a regular dessert in our household.
What Ingredients Do I Need To Make Air Fryer Milo Lava Cake?
With only 6 ingredients, it makes this dessert one of our favourites on justsoyum.
It shouldn't be a problem finding some, if not all, in your pantry.

To make Air Fryer milo lava cake, you'll need:
- Milo
- Plain Flour
- Sugar
- Water
- Vegetable Oil
- Eggs
This recipe will easily make two milo lava cakes, but simply double the ingredients if you want to make more.
How To Prepare The Milo Lava Cake?
In a mixing bowl, begin adding the dry ingredients, such as the milo, plain flour and sugar.
Whisk the dry ingredients together.
Then add the wet ingredients, water, vegetable oil, and eggs and whisk thoroughly until the mixture is smooth.

You'll need at least two 10cm ramekins. You can get away with slightly smaller ramekins.
Spray your ramekins with a small amount of cooking spray to prevent your lava cakes from sticking.
Cut out round sheets of baking paper to fit on the bottom of your ramekins.
Use the bottom as a template to draw the circles.
Spray a tiny amount of cooking spray onto the baking paper and place them on the bottom of your ramekins.
Begin pouring the cake mixture into your ramekins, keeping both of them even.
Baking Your Milo Lava Cakes In The Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer at 200°C (390°F) for 2 minutes.

I'm using my Phillips XXL family sized air fryer, which I got from Amazon for this recipe.
It can easily fit four ramekins at one time.
Once you have preheated your air fryer, place your ramekins onto the basket.
Close the draw and set a timer for 8-9 minutes at 200°C (390°F).

When your air fryer milo lava cakes are ready to go, carefully place each ramekin upside down onto a plate.
Tap the base a couple of times and lift the ramekin off the lave cake.
Dispose of the baking paper and flip the lava cake over.
Sprinkle a small amount of icing sugar over the top for extra sugary goodness and serve.
Whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream are some other great options that also go great.
Once you split the lava cake with your spoon, watch the runny milo spill out onto your plate and enjoy!
Power Tip: Don't let that runny milo go to waste. Scoop it up with your spoon and drizzle it onto the cake.
