Sometimes you want quick and easy, and Mini English Muffin Pizzas are super easy to make. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or appetizers when entertaining.

My kids not only love eating these, but they love adding and creating their topping.

And I also love making these when we are entertaining, whether it is just a get together with friends and family or a child’s birthday party.

How to Make Mini English Muffin Pizzas

There isn’t too much that goes into this, and you can choose your favourite topping that you and your family love to eat.

Main Ingredients

  • English Muffins
  • Pizza Tomato Paste
  • Grated Mozzarella Cheese

Topping Ingredients

  • Scrambled Eggs
  • Ham
  • Twiggy Stick
  • Red Capsicum
  • Green Capsicum
  • Pineapple Pieces
  • Mushrooms
  • Pepperoni
  • Shredded Chicken

To start, slice the English muffins in half. Add the pizza tomato paste to each muffin and spread around until fully coated.

If you don’t have pizza tomato paste, you can use the standard tomato paste.

Next, cover with mozzarella cheese before putting your toppings on.

Adding the cheese first helps your toppings stay on top of your pizza better and doesn’t take away from the flavour.

However, you can also add little extra cheese over the top if you like.

Aussie Pizza, also known as egg and ham pizza

To create the Aussie mini pizza, you need first to cook the egg. I found scrambling the egg the best option for us. A tip is to do this with the egg only, do not add milk or salt to it.

Add some of the scrambled egg over the top of the cheese, and then add the diced ham.

You can even turn this into a breakfast pizza by adding bacon instead of ham.

Hawaiian Pizza, also known as ham and pineapple.

Place diced ham and pineapple pieces over the top of the cheese. I use the tined pineapple pieces for our pizza and drain them well of the juice.

But if you keep fresh pineapple in the house, you can use this also; just cut into 1 cm thick rings and cut the rings into pieces.

Supreme Pizza

There are a few variations to the supreme pizza. But our favourite contains the basics such as.

  • Diced red and green capsicum
  • Diced ham
  • Sliced mushroom
  • Sliced twiggy stick

All these, just get placed over the top of the mozzarella cheese. However, as these are created on an English muffin, I slice my mushrooms in half before thinly slicing them, as I have found they fit better.

You can also add ripped up pepperoni instead of the twiggy stick or add sliced black olives, or if you are an anchovy lover, you can add these too.

Pepperoni Mini Pizza

Super easy with this one, all you need is one slice of pepperoni over the top of the cheese.

Other options are the mini pepperoni slices and a drizzle of bbq sauce.

Ham and Cheese Mini Pizza

Another simple, classic topping and my kids favourite just placed diced ham over the top of the cheese.

Meatlovers Mini Pizza

For this, just add some sliced twiggy stick, ripped up pepperoni, diced ham and shredded chicken over the top of the cheese. And if you like bbq sauce, you can drizzle some of that over the top.

How long to cook a mini pizza

To cook your Mini English Muffin Pizza, you need to place them on a lined baking tray, then bake in a preheated oven of 200°C for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
