Simple Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Really easy to bake in the air fryer, and makes for a great snack during the day. Best of all no preheating is required.

Ingredients
  

  • 50 g Butter and extra to baste the baking pan
  • 2 Eggs lightly whisked
  • 2 Overripe Bananas
  • 1 ¾ cups Self-raising flour
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Whole Milk
  • ½ cup Milk Chocolate Chips extra for on top

Instructions
 

  • Melt 50 grams of butter and put aside to cool. Melt some extra butter and baste the baking pan.
  • Lightly whisk the eggs and mash the bananas.
  • Sift all the flour and cinnamon into a bowl. Add the sugar and mix, breaking up any lumps.
  • Add the butter, eggs, milk, bananas and ½ cup chocolate chips. Mix until just combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the baking pan and place in your air fryer on 150° C or 302° F for 40 to 45 minutes
  • Use a toothpick to check if it is cooked. When ready cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing.

Notes

Serve with some whipped cream and strawberries,  along with a cup of tea or coffee.  Or add to the kid's school lunch boxes.
