In a mixing bowl whisk the milo, flour, and sugar.
Add the water, vegetable oil, and eggs and whisk until there are no more lumps and the mixture is runny.
Spray ramekins with a small amount of cooking spray and cut a sheet of baking paper into circles. Use the base of the ramekin as a template, and spray a small amount of cooking spray onto the round sheets of baking paper.
Place the baking paper onto the base of each ramekin, and pour the cake mixture into each ramekin, keeping them level with each other.
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 2 minutes.
Place each ramekin into the air fryer basket and set a temperature of 200°C (390°F) for 8-9 minutes.
Carefully place each ramekin upside down onto a plate, tap the base a few times and lift the ramekin off and flip the lava cake over.
Serve with icing sugar, whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.
