You will be a hit with your family or guests when you make this delicious cheeseburger. You can even make the patties in advance and freeze them. Serve for lunch or dinner. Or even make them for a gathering or event.
Whisk the eggs and finely dice the onion. Take 2 tablespoons of the onion and set it aside for the sauce.
In a large bowl add the ground beef, garlic, oregano, rosemary, thyme, cumin, breadcrumbs, onion, the whisked eggs, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Then mix until well combined.
Divide the mixture into 15 equal portions, roll into balls and flatten with your hand or hamburger press. Then refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes before cooking. For best results freeze.
Cook the patties on medium-high heat for a few minutes on each side, approx 3 to 4 minutes. Only flip once.
Burger Sauce
Finely dice the pickles and set them aside.
In a small bowl dissolve 1 ½ tablespoon of sugar in 1 tablespoon of white wine vinegar.
In a medium bowl add the mayonnaise, mustard, pickles, the diced onion you set aside before, paprika, garlic, and the white wine vinegar with the dissolved sugar. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate.
Making the Deluxe Cheeseburger
While the patty is cooking, cook your bacon.
When you flip your patty, add a slice of cheese so it melts on top.
Lightly toast your burger buns, then spread the burger sauce on the bottom buns, and on the top one also if you like.
When the patty is cooked place that on top of the sauce and dress with bacon. Optional extras, add sliced pickles and onion rings to the burger. Along with a second patty with melted cheese to make it a double.
