Equipment

Ingredients

  • 4 Large Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Bicarb Soda
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • ½ tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Dried Rosemary

Instructions

  • Peel potatoes, cut in half and place in a pot of cold water.
  • Add salt and bicarb and mix around until dissolved.
  • Cook over high heat until the water starts to boil. Once boiling, turn down to a simmer, and simmer for around 10 minutes or until the potatoes are just tender.
  • Drain the potatoes and allow them to cool slightly in your colander. Once cooled toss them around in the colander to create unsmooth edges.
  • Add the oil to a large bowl, followed by the potatoes. Then add half the garlic salt, rosemary and thyme. Toss around in the bowl, then and the rest of the herbs and toss again.
  • Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray and then place the potatoes cut side down into the basket. Make sure there is space between your potatoes so the air circulates between them all.
  • Cook at 180°C for 35 minutes or until the internal temperature of the potatoes is 98°C
